  2. Ensure that bluetooth is enabled for your phone.

    2. For Android, you must grant location services and bluetooth permissions. Teleport does not collect or use your location information. It's simply required for Android to allow the pedal to connect to your phone.

If you cannot see your WiFi network on the list of networks when registering:

1. Ensure you are using a 2.4 GHZ network. 5GHZ networks are not supported.

2. Ensure you have good signal strength. Try moving the pedal closer to the router / modem.

Do I need a subscription to use teleport?

No, Teleport does not require a subscription!  All users have the ability to upload, download, export and collaborate on 60 songs at any given time. If you need more space, you simply can delte songs that are no longer needed.  If you need more than 60 songs, you can purchase an unlimited subscription plan.

Simply drag them into your DAW!  All of your tracks (and overdubs) will already be time-synched and lined up for production!

What is a parent / child song?

Teleport tracks song ancestry so you can easily discover related songs. When a song is downloaded, and then re-uploaded with a new part, the original song is the parent, and the new song is the child.

Is there a maximum number of overdubs per track?

No limit on overdubs, except what storage can handle. When you reach the limit, the pedal will not let you make another overdub.

Who can download my songs, and when?

All public songs can be downloaded by any user.  Private songs can only be downloaded by users that have the private link.  If you do not wish to have your songs available to the public, please set them to private and share the link with only people you choose.

When I publish a song, what rights do I have to it? Do I own it?

You own your songs, and you have full rights to your songs, however, like all social media platforms, we do require that you grant us and the other users of the service certain rights, described fully in our Terms Of Service

Can I adjust the footswitch height?

Yes, but very carefully. Use a tool to twist the nut and thread the footswitch higher or lower.

I can't hear any sound coming out of my pedal. Help!

1. Make sure the pedal is turned on and awake.

2. Make sure the song contains a track with audio. Tracks with audio are green. Empty tracks say empty.

3.  Make sure amplifier is plugged into output selected on track.

4.  Make sure amplifier is turned on, not on standby, with volume up.

5. Make sure cable to amplifier is in good, working condition.

6. Lastly, make sure that volume is up on the pedal, and your track isn't muted.

How many songs can my pedal hold?

Every teleport pedal can hold 60 songs total. The reason for 60 is because that's how many songs we can continuously monitor over the internet.  But, this also means that your songs do not include firm time or overdub limits!  If you need more room, and you wish to keep your songs, simply upload them via the teleport app and they'll be available in the cloud to download back to your pedal any time you'd like.

My pedal seems to have lost internet connection. What do I do?

If your pedal shows a red or yellow WiFi icon, and your pedal is registered. first unplug and re-plug in your pedal. This will cycle the power and reset the connection.  If the wifi remains red or yellow, you'll need to factory reset the pedal, de-register pedal from app, and re-register. If your issue persists, please email support@guitargate.com

What's the difference between default and non-default routing?

Default routing can be set to save your desired output routing. For example: you find that you always have track 1 going to your guitar amp, which is output 1. And track 2 and drums always going to output 2, which is your bass amp. You can select to save that as your default routing when a new song is created.

What are the numbers to the left and right of the tracks?

The number to the left of a track is the input selector. The number to the right of a track is the output selector. For example: you want to record from input 1 but output to the amp on out put 2?  Select 1 on the left and 2 on the right.
