I just signed up for a pre-order. The social aspects of this are infinite. I forsee groups interested in the same genres, or at the same level of competency forming affinity groups, and writing together, recording some raw music that can be polished in somebodys DAW. and so on and so on. Deadheads will be able to jam their favourites, blues meisters can get together, and so forth and so on.
